Founded in 2012, The Woodlands Academy of Music specializes in quality fine arts education from birth. Our nationally recognized Kindermusik program was the first in the Greater Houston Region. As part of our commitment to education our instructors have each earned a degree and are members of local music or art organizations such as: The Woodlands Junior Music Club (TWJMC). Our instructors teach each student the foundations of music including - theory, technique, repertoire and performance.

In 2016 our partnership with Play Smarter Kids began. As a non-traditional STEM program, Play Smarter Kids classes fit well with the existing Kindermusik and Musik Troop classes. Since our partnership began, many students have enjoyed the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with Ms. Aurora. In the summer of 2017, plans to expand by adding a licensed early-childhood art program brings us one step closer to our mission of bringing quality fine arts education to The Woodlands and surrounding areas.
